Founder & Executive Director

Brenda Ross is the Founder and Executive Director of The Paralegal Academy and the founder of My Law Office Managers, where she works as a legal consultant helping law firms improve operations, strengthen workflows, and build more efficient teams. With more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Brenda has dedicated her career to practical legal education, law office management, and professional development.

Beginning her career as a legal receptionist, Brenda advanced through nearly every operational role within a law firm, including paralegal, paralegal manager, operations manager, and law firm administrator. Her hands-on experience gives her a unique perspective that bridges legal education with the realities of modern legal practice.

Brenda is an Adjunct Professor teaching Civil Law and Procedure in an ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program, a published author whose textbooks are used in legal education, a curriculum contributor, Florida CLE presenter, legal consultant, and frequent speaker on legal operations, technology, and professional development.

Through The Paralegal Academy, Brenda's mission is to deliver practical, affordable, and career-focused education that helps legal professionals grow with confidence, competence, and integrity.

Briana Ashley Texter, Esq. is the Co-Founder and Director of Legal Education for The Paralegal Academy and an attorney with Texter Law. She brings practical legal experience, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to student-centered education to the Academy's programs, webinars, and professional training.

Briana maintains a diverse legal practice focused on Family Law, Immigration Law, and Civil Litigation. She is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered representation while helping students connect legal theory with practical application through real-world instruction.

A graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Briana earned numerous academic honors and leadership positions while developing a strong foundation in advocacy, litigation, legal research, and business transactions. Her practical experience brings valuable perspective to every course she teaches.

As Co-Founder of The Paralegal Academy, Briana is committed to helping students connect legal theory with real-world practice and develop the confidence needed for long-term success in the legal profession.

With exceptional organizational skills, thoughtful communication, and a genuine passion for helping others, Faith creates a student experience built on professionalism, responsiveness, and personal support.
