Brenda Ross is a law office management consultant, legal educator, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Paralegal Academy, bringing more than two decades of hands-on experience inside real law firms. She is also the founder of My Law Office Managers, where she works directly with law firms nationwide to streamline operations, strengthen staff performance, improve cash flow, and build sustainable, profitable practices.
Having worked her way through every level of a law office—from receptionist to senior paralegal to firm administrator—Brenda offers a rare, operations-first perspective that law firms immediately recognize as practical and effective. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Civil Law and Procedure in an ABA-approved paralegal program and is the author and co-author of multiple legal textbooks and professional resources relied upon by paralegals and attorneys across the country.
Brenda’s instruction goes far beyond theory. Her training focuses on how legal work actually gets done—including drafting and file management, calendaring and deadline control, time and task management, billing support, client communication, workflow organization, and the systems that keep law offices running smoothly under pressure.

Briana Texter, Esq. is a practicing attorney, legal educator, Co-Founder and Chief Academic and Ethics Officer of The Paralegal Academy, where she designs and delivers practice-ready training built specifically for real law firm environments. Her work focuses on equipping paralegals, legal staff, and attorneys with the hands-on skills law firms need to operate efficiently, stay compliant, and reduce costly mistakes.
As President of Texter Law, Briana actively manages a busy practice handling family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoptions, and immigration. Because she runs a law firm herself, her instruction is grounded in what actually happens inside a law office—from workflow and client communication to case management, delegation, and operational decision-making.
Briana’s teaching goes beyond theory and textbooks. She trains legal professionals to think like firm operators, helping law offices build stronger teams, improve processes, and confidently handle day-to-day legal work with precision and professionalism. Her approach ensures that training translates directly into better performance, higher efficiency, and measurable value for law firms.
